Dr. Danielle (Ayana) James – Certified Professional Development Coach – is on a mission to support high-level leaders thrive by accessing and accelerating the growth of their best selves.

A Certified Professional Development & Leadership Coach and Organizational Development (OD) Specialist, Ayana has worked with a diversity of high-potential leaders across Canada and the USA.  A self declared ‘yes to life’ fanatic, Ayana is also an Ordained Minister and entrepreneur who uniquely bridges worlds of business, leadership and spirituality.

Dr. James brings 15+ years of collective experience having worked in the non-profit & faith based sector, higher education and corporate leadership development. She coaches individuals who want to get curious about alignment of their heart and head in life. She also brings expertise in coaching leaders through personal and professional change. Her clients have a deep longing for more in their leadership (personal and professional).   Ayana has an uncanny ability to unleash and develop the authentic leader within individuals.  In coaching she brings an inter-disciplinary and integrative, customized and strength based approach to each client.  She is committed to creating for her clients a coaching relationship of safety, trust and mutuality.   Her clients benefit from her systems thinking perspective, resources to awaken heart and spirit, and the theory and practices that create deeper self awareness and understanding.

Ayana has earned degrees from McMaster University (HBSc) Yale University (MDiv) and McCormick Theological Seminary (DMin). Ayana is a member of the International Coaching Federation, a graduate of the Auburn Coaching program, NY. and has earned additional coaching credentials from the International Coaching Federation (ICF) as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC). She is a graduate of Royal Roads University in Organizational Development & Change Management. She is an Ordained Minister with the United Church of Canada.

Ayana loves making pottery, cooking and dance classes. She is a Director with The Alex, a community health centre in Calgary who work with the most vulnerable populations of the city. http://www.thealex.ca
